Getting USDT without paying a fee
Buying USDT peer-to-peer on Binance costs nothing in fees, which makes it the cheapest way to fund an account.
This shop is funded in USDT. If you do not hold any yet, the cheapest way to get it is Binance's peer-to-peer market, where you buy directly from another user in your own currency. Binance charges no fee to the buyer on P2P trades.
How it works
- In the Binance app open P2P and choose Buy, then USDT.
- Select your local currency and the payment method you actually have.
- Pick a seller. Sort by completion rate rather than by price โ the difference between the best and third-best rate is usually smaller than the cost of a trade that stalls.
- Enter the amount and open the order. The seller's payment details appear and the USDT is held in escrow by Binance.
- Pay the seller directly, then mark the order paid.
- The seller releases the USDT to your Binance account, usually within minutes.
Reading a seller
- Completion rate โ how often their orders finish. High is what matters.
- Average release time โ how long they take to hand over the USDT.
- Order limits โ a seller with a high minimum is not worth opening for a small trade.
Only ever mark an order paid after the money has actually left your account. Marking paid early is how a trade becomes a dispute.
Pay only through the method shown in the order, and never continue a trade off the platform. Escrow protects you only while the trade stays inside it.
Once the USDT is in your Binance account you can fund your balance here with Binance Pay, which is also free โ see that guide.
We are not affiliated with Binance and receive nothing from this. It is described here because it is the cheapest path we know of, and a buyer who overpays on fees has less to spend with us.
